The Administrative Assistant will handle all administrative duties related to the efficient functioning of the Queens office. The ideal candidate will support several staff members in meeting the administrative demands of their departments, as needed.
Job Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Provide general administrative services and clerical support to members of the team, such as sorting and distributing mail, copying, scanning, filling and assisting with audit preparations
Prepare, coordinate and maintain filing systems for all related clients, as well as administration.
Assist with the preparation and distribution of materials for training functions.
Answer phones, maintain pleasant demeanor, uphold presentable appearance in the face of office visitors and outreach events; possible public relations liaison for the organization.
Maintain and monitor inventory of office supplies and equipment for all departments.
Create opportunities to market services to the community; follow through with setting up hosting opportunities at community events.
Perform related duties for high demand projects, as assigned.
- Qualifications: Associates degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Bilingual (Spanish), Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills, be team-oriented and resourceful. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel. Must have the ability to work under simultaneous demands and strict deadlines.
