Knowledge & Education needed

German speaking
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, MBA or master's preferred
5-10 years metals or aerospace sales, marketing or program management experience
Willingness to travel (role could demand travel to Germany up to 30% - 40% of positionMathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. 

Maintains detailed knowledge of product portfolio and capabilities. Keeps abreast of competitor activity, market trends, and customer requirements in assigned areas.  Advises the Director of Sales of significant developments.
Maintains close liaison with distributors and agents in the assigned territories and design joint marketing plans and manages the implementation to improve market share of products consistent with pricing policies and objectives.
Directly responsible for the sales to specified major accounts.
Direct and manage all conflict resolutions with the support of your line manager
Manage requirements and insure adherence
Lead quarterly customer reviews (sales, delivery performance, quality, trends)
Manages and monitors the development of sales activity on major contracts identified from time to time by the Director of Sales.
Maintains close liaison with market development and personally manages the overall sales activity leading up to order placement. This includes responsibility for negotiating all details of contract including prices, deliveries, penalties and payment terms.
Maintains good communication with the functions and senior management on key developments and convene meetings as appropriate of all involved parties
Work closely with customer service from the mill and service centres
Develop business plans and required actions plans. Identifies short-, medium- and long-term sales opportunities.  Analyse and propose solutions rapidly and accurately.

Car Allowance of £500 per month
26 days annual leave + banks
