HVAP Data Centre Supervisor - Northolt - £65,000

Introduction:
An industry-leading FM service provider is looking for an experienced HVAP Data Centre Supervisor to oversee a high-profile critical site in Northolt. This role is ideal for a hands-on Supervisor with a strong electrical background and solid experience in data centre environments.

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for leading a large on-site engineering team, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all critical systems within a fast-paced and high-security data centre. This is a client-facing role that requires strong leadership, technical competence, and an uncompromising focus on safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Supervise day-to-day operations of the site - Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (flexibility required due to site demands)

*

Lead a team of M&E engineers, allocating tasks and monitoring performance

*

Act as the HV Authorised Person on site - carry out switching, issue permits, and oversee HV works

*

Write HV switching schedules and coordinate with third parties where required

*

Manage and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)

*

Ensure all site Health & Safety practices are adhered to and continuously improved

*

Maintain service excellence and meet critical KPI/SLAs

*

Provide technical guidance and support during fault diagnosis and rectification

*

Liaise with clients and stakeholders professionally and proactively

Qualifications & Experience Required:

*

Electrical engineering background with NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds equivalent

*

Valid and in-date HVAP ticket

*

Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a supervisory role within a critical/data centre environment

*

Experience leading HV switching operations and writing switching schedules

*

Strong knowledge of RAMS and health & safety procedures on high-risk sites

*

Previous experience in facilities management, ideally within data centres or other critical settings
