Electromechanical Team Leader
Location: UK-wide (project-based, travel required)

Overview
We are looking for an experienced Electromechanical Team Leader to oversee installation projects across the UK. This is a hands-on role combining technical expertise with team leadership, working on automation systems such as conveyors and ASRS.

This position is mobile, with projects across England and a rotation-based working pattern. Accommodation is provided where applicable.

Package

* £26-£28 per hour (depending on experience)

* Up to 220 hours per month

Key Responsibilities

Project & Team Leadership

* Lead installation teams on-site, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to specification

* Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates on project progress

* Manage subcontractors, materials, and resources in line with project plans

* Monitor project progress, reporting updates and supporting delivery within budget

Technical & Site Duties

* Oversee electrical and mechanical installation works in line with drawings and specifications

* Carry out testing and support commissioning activities

* Perform quality checks and ensure compliance with technical and customer requirements

* Resolve on-site issues and support the team with technical guidance

Health & Safety

* Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations on-site

* Deliver toolbox talks and manage safety documentation (RAMS, permits, etc.)

* Work closely with client safety teams and respond to inspections

Requirements

* Minimum 2 years' experience leading electrical installation or automation projects (conveyors, ASRS)

* Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings

* SSSTS or SMSTS and ECS/CSCS certification (essential)

* Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification

* Full UK driving licence

* Fluent English (additional languages beneficial)

* Willingness to travel and work on projects across the UK
