Fire Door Carpenter
Location: North London (mobile role - mileage covered)
Pay Rate: £230 per day
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent (12-week probation)
Start Date: ASAP

Overview:
We're currently looking for an experienced Fire Door Carpenter to join a leading social housing contractor, working across North London. This role involves carrying out fire door remedials, new installations, and maintenance works within occupied and void properties.

Role Responsibilities:

Installing and repairing fire doors to current safety standards

Carrying out fire door inspections, adjustments, and remedial works

Ensuring all works are completed safely, accurately, and within agreed timeframes

Working across various social housing properties as part of a mobile team

Requirements:

Proven experience with fire door installations and remedials

NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or equivalent (preferred)

Own tools and transport

Good understanding of social housing environments and working in occupied properties
