We are looking to appoint an ambitious Bookkeeper & Payroll Senior, who would be qualified to at least ACA/ACCA level, to join our clients newly formed Bookkeeping and Payroll Team.

About the Role

With day-to-day responsibility for the processing of bookkeeping, VAT and payroll services for a range of clients, this new team member will play an integral role in our service delivery.

* Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies

* Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure

* Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances

* Completing VAT returns

* Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the Accountant of errors

About You

Are you a motivated Bookkeeper & Payroll Senior with at least 3 years' experience? If this sounds like you, we really want to hear from you. You will require to have the following skills:

* Have 3 years'+ bookkeeping, payroll, VAT Return preparation, and CIS Return preparation practice experience.

* Be familiar with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.

* Be competent in MS Office and have a working knowledge of online accounting packages, including QuickBooks, Xero and FreeAgent.

* Have hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.

* Be committed to delivering a high standard of service to clients.

* Have clear verbal and written communication skills.

* Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.

* Be well-organised, able to manage own workload and work to deadlines.
