My client is a Secondary academy, part of a wider Multi Academy Trust based in North London, looking to recruit an HR Manager.

The role centres on the development and delivery of people management strategies to support the schools’ overall strategic aims and objectives.  You’ll contribute at both a strategic and operational level in order to identify HR priorities and recommend appropriate solutions and provide informed professional advice and support to SLT, Managers and staff on all aspects of people management. You’ll have the support of  external legal support, the Trust central HR team as well as other statutory and professional bodies where required.  The position oversees the key areas of recruitment and selection, learning and development, employee relations as well as all associated HR reporting and data management.

CIPD studies and previous HR experience is a necessity, with education sector a huge advantage but not an essential criteria.  Its hoped that this role could provide a definitive step up for a current HR Advisor / HR Officer into their first Manager position.  

Although initially positioned as a full time, 52 week a year role, applications are welcomed from candidates preferring term time only working.
