Job Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer / Bricklayer's Mate to join a busy construction site in Liverpool. The successful candidate will support bricklayers and site trades, assist with materials, and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.

This role is ideal for someone with site experience who is physically fit, dependable, and keen to progress within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting bricklayers with day-to-day tasks
• Mixing mortar to the correct consistency
• Loading and unloading bricks, blocks, and materials
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe
• Moving materials around site as required
• Supporting general site labouring duties
• Following health & safety procedures at all times
• Taking instructions from site supervisors and tradesmen

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card (essential)
• Face Fit & Manual Handling
• Previous experience as a labourer or bricklayer's mate preferred
• Good understanding of site health & safety
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Ability to work well as part of a team

Desirable (but not essential)

• Experience working on residential or commercial builds
• PPE (Safety boots, hi-vis & helmet)
