We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our finance team within a construction company. The role involves managing both purchase and sales ledgers, credit control, and general finance administration. The successful candidate will be part of a team of 5, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
Day-to-day of the role: - Handling purchase ledger and sales ledger activities.
- Conducting credit control to ensure timely payments.
- Performing general finance-related administrative tasks.
- Resolving financial queries efficiently to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Providing excellent customer service in all finance-related interactions.
- Utilising Sage 50 and Construct systems for various accounting operations.
- Collaborating with the finance team to support the Financial Controller.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proven experience in finance, particularly within purchase ledger, sales ledger, and credit control.
- Strong understanding of general finance administration.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to resolve queries effectively.
- Proficiency in Sage 50 and Construct systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with the Financial Controller and other team members.
- Organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.
