Yard Operative

Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 8am - 6pm
Salary Range - £31,746.00

We have an exciting opportunity for a Yard Operative to join a global engineering company. You'll be responsible for cleaning, maintaining, moving construction equipment and help keep things running smoothly in the yard and workshop.

Main Duties:

* Clean returned equipment using a jet wash.

* Remove parts before washing and move items to the workshop.

* Carry out basic repairs and servicing of equipment.

* Keep the yard organised and make sure everything is in the right place.

* Load and unload vehicles and pick items for delivery.

* Use a computer to record tasks and stock information.

* Check and report on equipment coming back from hire.

* Help with stock control and move items between depots.

* Keep the warehouse clean and tidy.

* Follow all health and safety rules.

* Be flexible with start times and working hours.

* Work well with the team and complete any required training

Important Requirements:

* You must have a valid driving licence and your own transport.

* You must have experience using a forklift.
