Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Stores Driver to join Berneslai Homes on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a part-time role working 22.5 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday.

The Role

* To drive vehicles up to and including 3½ tonnes carrying capacity.

* To carry out relevant vehicle checks to ensure that the vehicle meets with legislative road transport standards.

* To transport materials between the depot, properties and agreed locations around the Borough

* To collect materials from our suppliers and deliver to locations around the Borough

* To be responsible for ensuing all materials for delivery are secured on the vehicle using the appropriate straps, anchor points and containers.

* To assist with picking orders for delivery

* Stock rotation and housekeeping in the Stores area

Experience and Skills

* Minimum 2 years driving experience loading and delivering goods

* Demonstrate a positive, flexible approach to team working

* Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines

* Ability to organise own workload and effectively prioritise tasks

* Knowledge of Health and Safety and manual Handling

* Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the service, additional hours maybe required

Hours - 7:30am to 3:30pm (Wednesday to Friday).
