Senior Financial Accountant – High-Growth, PE-Backed Hospitality Business

Equifind is working with a rapidly scaling, private equity-backed hospitality business seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its growing finance team. The business operates a multi-site model and is undergoing significant expansion.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role will play a key part in strengthening financial controls, improving processes, and supporting the business through its next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead intercompany reconciliations and group consolidations
• Support statutory reporting and act as a key contact during audits
• Deliver month-end close with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Drive process improvements and internal controls enhancement
• Support real estate accounting and valuation processes
• Contribute to finance projects, including system improvements and new site integration
• Oversee VAT compliance and liaise with external advisors

Candidate Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Strong technical accounting background (consolidations, statutory reporting, VAT)
• Experience working with auditors and delivering month-end processes
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail

Desirable:

• Experience in multi-site, hospitality, leisure, or real estate environments
• Exposure to PE-backed or high-growth businesses
• Involvement in systems implementation or process transformation
