About the role...
This is a hands-on Management Accountant position for someone who can take ownership of core financial processes, provide clear commercial insight, and operate confidently with stakeholders across the business. You'll play a key role in reporting, planning, and performance analysis-turning data into meaningful actions.
This role suits someone who is detail-oriented, commercially aware, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and accountability matter.
Key responsibilities: Financial Reporting
- Deliver accurate and timely month-end close for assigned business areas
- Produce high-quality P&Ls, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Analyse financial performance, clearly identifying risks, trends, and variances
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Support the annual budget and periodic forecasting cycles
- Work directly with stakeholders to build robust, realistic budgets
- Develop scenario analysis to support commercial decision-making
Cost & Performance Analysis
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive improved financial performance
- Monitor KPIs and provide actionable insight to support delivery
- Reconcile and maintain integrity of balance sheet accounts
Business Partnering
- Work closely with operational and commercial teams to influence outcomes
- Provide clear, data-driven insight to support strategy and investment decisions
- Collaborate with the wider finance team and support ad hoc requirements
- Liaise with external auditors and ensure timely resolution of queries
About you...- Newly or recently qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)
- Proven experience in a commercial finance or management accounting role ( this is not an entry-level position )
- Strong technical grounding with the ability to interpret and challenge financial data
- Confident working with stakeholders and able to communicate financial information clearly
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of deliverables
- Able to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment with competing priorities
