Maintenance Person - Part Time - Stanneylands Hotel, Wilmslow

We are looking for a Maintenance Person to join the team overseeing the general maintenance and safety of our fabulous hotel and being a hands on member of our small team.

You need be a friendly induvial, experienced in general maintenance with a keen eye for detail and repair and a positive “we can “approach to work. You will be self-motivated with the ability to manage, prioritise and plan your workload effectively.

Formal qualifications are not necessarily needed but the ability to apply yourself to most general maintenance and upkeep issues is essential.

Duties include

• Weekly and monthly health & safety, fire checks and record keeping.
• Light decorating skills, joinery, minor pluming & electrical repairs and reporting to company contractors when required.
• Checking in all public areas and bedrooms for any reactive and proactive repairs whilst working closely with the housekeeping & front of house team when faults are reported.
• Keeping the grounds presentable, tidy and litter free whilst maintaining planting.
