We are seeking a Lead Offshore Geotechnical Engineer for a permanent role with a leading geotechnical services provider in the offshore energy sector. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to take a senior leadership position, overseeing complex offshore projects and driving geotechnical excellence on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities of the Lead Offshore Geotechnical Engineer:

Take the lead in managing and executing offshore geotechnical investigations for major projects

Provide expert geotechnical analysis, including soil sampling, testing, and interpretation of data

Lead the design, evaluation, and optimization of geotechnical solutions for offshore foundations and infrastructure

Oversee a team of engineers, providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff

Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

Ensure compliance with industry safety, quality, and environmental standards

Develop and deliver technical reports, presentations, and recommendations to clients

Requirements to be considered:

Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field; MSc preferred

Relevant offshore geotechnical experience, with a proven track record in a leadership role

In-depth knowledge of geotechnical site investigations, soil mechanics, and offshore foundation design

Experience with offshore geotechnical software, analysis tools, and investigation techniques

Strong leadership skills and experience managing multidisciplinary teams

Live in or near to Norfolk
