A growing Multi-Academy Trust based in Wembley is seeking to appoint an experienced School Business Manager to support the operational and financial leadership of the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional who understands the operational demands of education and is looking to play a key strategic role within a developing trust.

Key Role Information

• Position: School Business Manager

• Location: Wembley, London

• Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 (depending on experience)

• Start Date: ASAP or September 2026

• Sector Experience Required: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a school, college or university environment

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the business and operational functions of the school/trust

• Oversee financial management, budgeting and resource planning

• Manage areas including HR, payroll, estates, compliance and administration

• Support the Headteacher and senior leadership team with strategic planning

• Ensure compliance with DfE regulations, safeguarding and financial governance

• Oversee procurement, contracts and supplier management

• Lead operational staff teams and ensure effective service delivery across the school

The role sits within a small but ambitious Multi-Academy Trust that is continuing to expand. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting school leaders by ensuring strong operational systems, financial stability and efficient day-to-day management.
