Are you an agile and enthusiastic leader with a passion for driving change and optimising operations? If so, we want you to be part of our dynamic team based in beautiful Windsor! Our organisation is on an exciting journey toward a greener, fairer future, and we're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to help guide us along the way.

Position: Operations Manager

Pay Rate: circa £625.00 per day (negotiable) inside IR35

Duration: 12 months
Location: Windsor

Working Pattern: Hybrid 1 - 2 days pw, Mon to Fri 9am - 5pm

Start date: ASAP

About Us:
Our organisation's REFM Team is dedicated to supporting daily operations while implementing property strategies and function change plans. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact as we strive to energise a sustainable future!

What You'll Do:

As our Operations Manager, you will:

Lead and Innovate: Take charge of the REFM function setup, establishing systems, processes, and ways of working that resonate with best market practises.
Monitor Performance: Oversee the operational performance of the function, assessing current third-party contracts and driving targeted improvements.
Champion Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the REFM team, ensuring that we learn from experiences and seize future opportunities.
Coordinate Change Plans: Own and manage the REFM change plan, collaborating with internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure effective delivery.
Support Strategic Initiatives: Assist the Head of Real Estate in developing and implementing strategies that drive strategic change across Real Estate, Facilities Management, and Project Management.
Oversee Project Management: Ensure all REFM opportunities and projects are tracked end-to-end, with adequate resources and processes in place for successful delivery.

Stakeholder Management Skills: Excellent ability to influence and manage stakeholders, delivering results despite challenges.
Collaborative Spirit: A knack for effective collaboration across internal and external teams.
Proven Management Skills: Experience in resolving issues and proactively managing risks with a hands-on approach.
Strong organisational Skills: Exceptional planning and time management abilities to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build relationships while managing conflicts.
Technical Proficiency: Competency in MS Project or other project management software.
Business Acumen: A solid understanding of business processes, including financial management.
Continuous Improvement Expertise: Experience in optimising processes and delivering measurable results.
Self-Starter Mentality: A proactive attitude and willingness to work within a small, agile team.
