Everwise has designed a digital publishing platform Publishchain based on blockchain technology to empower authors, publishers, and readers by providing a transparent, secure, and efficient platform for the entire publishing process. We aim to eliminate traditional barriers, reduce costs, and ensure fair compensation for all stakeholders.

This post is open ended and available from August 2024.

This post is advertised as full-time (37.5 hours per week), and we are open to considering flexible working patterns where the hours of work occur across the standard working week (i.e. Monday to Friday).

Blockchain Developer Job Responsibilities:

  • Completing the construction of Publishchain website and maintaining its operation
  • Reviewing smart contracts for security and functionality
  • Supervising web services that use blockchain technology
  • Integrating Solidity code across platforms
  • Managing the full lifecycle of blockchain development
  • Ensuring blockchain integration with existing applications
  • Building smart contracts and ensuring that all timelines and expectations are met
  • Translate requirements into complicated but clean and efficient code
  • Designing, developing, and testing blockchain systems.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Professionally qualified/relevant Bachelor's degree in Computer Science plus, typically, a minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in a similar or related role, or substantial vocational experience (typically more than 5 years) demonstrating development through involvement in a series of progressively more demanding work/roles
  • Strong technical skills and experience in software development
  • Familiar with different ways to deploy smart contracts, such as Remix, Truffle suite, and Hardhat
  • Deeper understanding of the complicated nature of NFTs in the blockchain ecosystem
  • Experienced in staking implementing and test-driven development (TDD)
  • Knowledge of libraries, data structures, blockchain architecture, web development, and smart contracts
  • Ensure the security of the blockchain network and providing support to users
  • Client and project management skills
  • The ability to meet deadlines

  • Knowledge in digital media, and content management
  • Fluent Mandarin speaking and listening ability
