Job Title: Finance Business Partner

Location: Derby

Contract: 12-months

Salary: £60K plus benefits

Distinct is supporting a growing business in Derby to recruit a Finance Business Partner for 12 months.

The role will support key divisions by delivering timely, accurate financial insights that drive informed decision-making and support strategic goals. You'll be a trusted advisor to stakeholders, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance, while identifying opportunities and risks.

You will:

• Partner with stakeholders to build and manage annual budgets and forecasts
• Provide financial analysis and insight to support business cases, and strategic decisions
• Lead in identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing financial risks
• Support financial reporting for improvement programmes and efficiency initiatives

About you:

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) or qualified by experience
• Strong background in finance business partnering
• Commercially minded with the ability to see the bigger picture
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and presenting financial data clearly
• Skilled in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and financial systems
• Confident communicator who can influence at all levels
