Salary: £14.80 per hour plus incentives
Hours: Full-time - 7am to 7pm, 3-4 shifts per week including alternate weekends

About the Role:

The care home provides personal, nursing, and dementia care to residents in a purpose built, modern setting designed to feel like home.

As a Senior Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents
Supporting residents with all aspects of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
Leading and supporting the care team on shift, ensuring all duties are carried out to a high standard
Completing medication rounds accurately and ensuring high standards in care documentation
Conducting one-to-ones with team members and assisting with investigations and concerns as directed by management
Promoting good practice and addressing poor performance constructively
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or Registered Nurse)
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home
Understanding of Person-Centred Care Planning
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
Must live within 30 minutes of the home
Preferred Experience:

Experience in a similar senior care role within a nursing home
Experience supporting individuals with dementia
NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care (or above)
Familiarity with the National Care Standards Act 2000
Proven ability to lead and manage a care team effectively
