Are you passionate about supporting young children's emotional and educational development in their formative years? A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Watford is currently looking for a dedicated and nurturing Learning Support Practitioner (LSP) to work with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), with a particular emphasis on pastoral care through the Thrive Approach.

About the Role:

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in helping young learners build confidence and resilience. You'll work closely with EYFS pupils, providing a blend of classroom support and targeted pastoral interventions, making a lasting impact during a key developmental stage.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day learning and emotional support to pupils in the Early Years
  • Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions based on the Thrive framework
  • Help maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work closely with teaching staff and support colleagues to address the needs of individual children

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in EYFS or Key Stage 1 is highly beneficial
  • Genuine passion for supporting children's emotional and social development
  • Knowledge of-or willingness to train in-the Thrive approach
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
