Data & Exams Manager – Temporary Role

Location: LondonStart Date: ASAPContract: Full-time, Temporary (with strong potential to become Temp-to-Perm)Working Pattern: Term-time only + 5 additional weeksHours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to FridayPay: £39,832 – £42,126 (pro-rata)

A high-performing secondary academy in London is seeking an experienced Data & Exams Manager to join them on a temporary basis, with the option to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate. This is a key operational role overseeing the school’s data systems and the smooth running of internal and external examinations.

The Role

You will take ownership of the academy’s data processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance and effective reporting across the school. In addition, you’ll lead on the organisation and administration of all exams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and updating the school MIS and data management systems
• Producing accurate, timely reports for senior leaders and key stakeholders
• Managing all aspects of internal and external exams - entries, timetables, invigilation and compliance
• Ensuring full accuracy and integrity of student data across systems
• Supporting staff with the effective use of BROMCOM, Power BI and Excel
• Liaising with awarding bodies, external partners and internal departments

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in data management and analysis, ideally within a school environment
• Strong working knowledge of BROMCOM and Power BI 
• Excellent Excel skills and confident handling large data sets
• Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced school environment
• A proactive, solution-focused mindset and commitment to safeguarding
