A Main contractor with a large order book of work who have some exciting times ahead with expansion rapidly happening. This contractor has a great reputation in the industry due to how they deliver their projects to a high standard which is underpinned by how well they treat their staff.

The Role

With a large order book of work, this reputable contractor is on the lookout for a Senior Cost Planner. As the Senior Cost Planner on this project, you will be active from the project's inception playing a key role in working closely with clients and stakeholders both internally and externally. Projects here can be over the £100m mark.

The Senior Cost Planner in this instance would be working on a multitude of projects and be expected to lead the estimating team giving guidance and direction on the creation of cost planning strategies and plans. You would be working closely with the Project Teams. The Senior Cost Planner here would be accountable for all Cost Planning and Estimating bids as well as the inputs. You would be expected to quantify and price each one.

Requirements

* Experience working with a main contractor on large scale projects

* Degree Educated in relevant discipline

* Previous experience as a Cost Planner or similar in the building sector

* Held a position in the past where you have had people working under you
