Our client, a leading Smart Home Automation company are expanding and looking for a skilled Service Engineer to join their expert team. Specialising in bespoke smart home solutions using industry-leading platforms such as Control4, Lutron, and more.

As a Service Engineer, you'll be the face of the client's aftercare and support service, responsible for:

Diagnosing and resolving technical issues across smart home automation, lighting control, AV distribution, networking, and home cinema systems.
Providing both remote and on-site support to existing clients.
Performing maintenance visits and system upgrades.
Liaising with clients and the wider engineering team to ensure seamless support and excellent customer experience.
Install, configure, and maintain audio visual equipment, including projectors, sound systems and control systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audio visual equipment and systemsWhat the Client is Looking For

Proven experience in AV or smart home service engineering (ideally within residential automation).
Strong working knowledge of platforms such as Control4, Lutron, Rako, or similar.
Good understanding of networking and IP-based systems.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
A proactive problem-solver with a flexible, can-do attitude.
Full UK driving licence.Desirable (but not essential)

Manufacturer training (e.g. Control4, Lutron).
Experience with remote monitoring and support platforms
Basic programming or configuration skills.Package & Benefits
