An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Structural Engineer to join a growing structural engineering consultancy in London.

This role offers the chance to take a leading position within a dynamic structures team, delivering complex reinforced concrete (RC) high-rise projects while managing and developing a team of engineers.

The successful Associate Structural Engineer will play a key role in technical leadership, project delivery and team management, working on high-profile developments within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in the London office.

Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Structural Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Leading the delivery of RC high-rise structural engineering projects
Producing and reviewing structural calculations, drawings and technical reports
Managing and mentoring a team of engineers and technicians
Acting as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders
Coordinating with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary teams
Ensuring designs comply with UK standards, regulations and best practice
Overseeing project delivery to meet programme, budget and quality targets
Supporting team growth and contributing to business development activitiesRequirements

To be considered for this Associate Structural Engineer role, candidates should have:

Proven experience working as an Associate Structural Engineer
Strong experience delivering RC high-rise building structures projects
Experience managing engineering teams and project delivery
Strong knowledge of structural design standards and UK regulations
Experience working within a UK engineering consultancy environment
Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skillsDesirable:

Chartered Engineer (CEng) status
Experience working on large-scale residential or mixed-use high-rise developmentsWhat's On Offer

£60,000 - £65,000 salary
Annual bonus (typically around £8,000, dependent on performance)
