Cnc Miller Programmer Setter Operator

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Cnc Miller Programmer Setter Operator to join a leading engineering company based in Southampton.

Introduction

Due to company growth and on the purchase of a brand new CNC Machine our client are looking for a Cnc Miller Programmer Setter Operator who can program set and operate.

Responsibilities:

* Setting up and operating a HAAS VM3 CNC Milling machine to produce components according to the company's specifications.

* Develop and modify CNC programs using G-code and CAM software. Specifically Fusion 360

* Select appropriate cutting tools and ensure their proper installation and calibration.

* Identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions on the machine if required.

* Perform routine maintenance checks on CNC machines to ensure their optimal performance.

* Work closely with other team members, including engineers and quality control staff, to achieve production goals.

* Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

* To be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Ideal Experience

* CNC Milling background, ideally programming as well as setting and operating

* A good team player and ability to learn new products

* An apprenticeship would be an advantage

* HAAS experience would be an advantage

Salary:

Circa £36K

Hours:

Day Shift - Monday to Friday 7.00am - 3.30pm
