Hours: 4-day working week (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday)
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x

Apex Resources are seeking a skilled and hands-on Fabrication Supervisor to lead our clients workshop team. The successful candidate will have a strong sheet metal background with experience in MIG & TIG welding, and the ability to take projects from design through to manufacture. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality output, mentoring apprentices, and maintaining a safe and productive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise a small fabrication team, ensuring smooth workflow from concept to finished product.

Carry out MIG & TIG welding to a high standard.

*

Oversee day-to-day workshop operations, including Return to Work (RTW) meetings.

*

Monitor and manage team holidays and absences.

*

Support and mentor two apprentices, helping them develop their skills and confidence.

*

Ensure all projects meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

What We're Looking For

*

Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication (Alluminium)

*

Skilled in both MIG & TIG welding.

*

Previous leadership/supervisory experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.

*

Strong communication and organisational skills.

*

A proactive approach to problem-solving and team development.
