Job Summary

Alecto Recruitment are representing a company that provides material handling solutions, in their search for a Field Service Engineer, this includes equipment and services designed to move, store, or control materials and products throughout manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution processes. They offer a wide range of material handling equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties

Carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of forklift trucks and other material handling equipment.
Respond to customer service and breakdown calls.
This is a field-based role, with most of the time being spent working at customers' own sites.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults and recommend appropriate solutions.
Provide excellent customer service by maintaining clear communication with clients.Qualifications and Skills

Full UK Driving Licence
Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
High standards, flexibility, and attention to detail
NVQ level 3 or equivalent in motor vehicle, HGV or heavy plant(Field Service Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Plant Engineer, HGV Technician, Maintenance Engineer, Forklift Engineer, Forklift Mechanic)
