Transport Clerk (Nights, 4 on 4 off)
£13.09 per hour
Shift: 18:00 - 06:00 

We are now looking for a Transport Clerk to assist with transport planning and day-to-day operational support.
This role could be temp-to-perm depending on the candidate.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
Supporting day-to-day transport operations, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time
Maintaining and updating transport documentation, including driver briefs/debriefs, delivery notes, and system entries
Communicating with drivers, planners, warehouse teams, and customers to ensure smooth coordination of activities
Monitoring fleet compliance, including defects, tachograph downloads, and vehicle checks
Assisting with reporting, KPI updates, and internal audits
Responding to operational issues or queries, escalating where requiredTHIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
Have previous experience in a transport, logistics, or administration role (desirable but not essential)
Have strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
Are confident using IT systems (e.g. MS Office, transport systems, telematics platforms)
