Our client, a leading global insurance and brokerage group headquartered in London, is seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join their expanding finance team. This is a highly visible role, working closely with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and drive strategic decision-making across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with divisional and operational leads to provide financial analysis, insight, and recommendations to support business performance
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary for senior management and the board
  • Supporting the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting cycles, challenging assumptions and ensuring accuracy
  • Delivering detailed business performance reviews, highlighting risks, opportunities, and key drivers of profitability
  • Building and maintaining financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions
  • Supporting pricing, deal modelling, and commercial contract reviews in collaboration with business leaders
  • Working with Group Finance on consolidation, reporting, and ensuring alignment with IFRS and internal reporting standards
  • Assisting with cash flow monitoring, forecasting, and investment planning
  • Acting as a finance lead in cross-functional projects, ensuring financial considerations are embedded in decision-making

Role Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A) or finance business partnering within insurance, financial services, or another global, complex organisation
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical, financial modelling, and Excel skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to senior stakeholders
