Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary schools across Southampton
Working Hours: Full-time or part-time (typical hours 08:30 - 15:30, may vary)
Pay: £13.68 per hour

About the Role

GSL Education is proud to work with a number of inclusive primary schools in Southampton. We're currently looking for Teaching Assistants to provide classroom and one-to-one support, especially for pupils with SEN. These roles offer a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in a supportive school environment.

Main Responsibilities:

Provide individual or group support for pupils, including those with SEN

Assist teachers in delivering lessons and managing the classroom

Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment

Support student progress and well-being

Potential for long-term or permanent roles depending on the school's needs

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

Experience in a primary school or working with SEN children

A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Flexibility and reliability in a classroom setting
