Are you an experienced school administrator with a strong knowledge of SIMS? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking confident and organised SIMS Administrators to join the administrative teams of well-established secondary schools in Newham.

About the Role:We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented professional to support the day-to-day running of school administration, with a particular focus on using SIMS (School Information Management System). The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of the school office and maintaining accurate student records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and update pupil records using SIMS

• Handle attendance data, reports, and registers

• Provide general administrative support to the school office and senior leadership team

• Manage reception duties, including dealing with enquiries from parents, students, and staff

• Assist with admissions, school communications, and safeguarding documentation

• Ensure data protection and confidentiality standards are upheld at all times

Requirements:

• SIMS experience is essential - candidates without SIMS experience will not be considered

• Previous school administration experience preferred

• Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

• A proactive, professional, and friendly approach

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Tradewind)
