The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Drainage Division at Environ Property Services as a Trainee Drainage Engineer based from our Fulham HQ.
Reporting to the Lead Engineer and Drainage Division Manager, you will assist on a wide range of specialist drainage works across London.
You will work on high-end residential, commercial and heritage properties.
This is a hands-on role where you will learn drainage techniques from experienced engineers and develop specialist skills in high-pressure water jetting, CCTV surveying, and remedial works.

Minimum Requirements:

* Must reside within 1-hour travel from Fulham, London SW area.

* Excellent communication and customer service skills essential.

* Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential.

* Must have a keen interest in drainage, plumbing, or general property maintenance and the willingness to learn.

* Physically fit with the ability to handle drainage equipment and manual tasks.

* Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

* Good practical skills, attention to detail, and an eagerness to learn.

* Punctual, reliable, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

* Able to follow clear instructions and work well as part of a team.

* Health & safety conscious and respectful of client properties.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Assist the Lead Drainage Engineer on-site with a wide range of specialist drainage works across London.

* Support the Lead Engineer on all site activities, playing a vital role in the safety, quality, and efficiency of each project.

* Carry, set up, and pack down tools and equipment for each project.

* Keep the drainage van organised, stocked, and clean at all times.

* Load and unload equipment safely at sites and depot.

* Prepare job sites with correct signage and barriers to ensure public safety.

* Keep sites clean, tidy, and hazard-free during and after works.

* Operate drainage equipment under supervision (after training), including jetting units and CCTV survey cameras.

* Support the engineer during CCTV surveys by helping manage cables and equipment.

* Follow correct procedures for waste removal and site clearances.

* Report any equipment faults or health & safety concerns promptly.

* Represent Environ Property Services in a professional manner at all times.

* Hands-on role, learning drainage techniques from experienced engineers and develop specialist skills in high-pressure water jetting, CCTV surveying, and remedial works.
