Data Administrator Job Description To manage, coordinate and control formal responses/requests for information, data and communications between the group, Customers and Suppliers • Principal relationships will be between Project Director/Manager, Project Controls (including Planners), Project Team/IPT Leads (including Engineering and Operations), Business functions, including QA, Finance, Supply Chain and Commercial • Identify and collate all existing PCM databases used for external communications to customers and suppliers • Set up a single database and tracker for the above • Generate and roll out a local business unit Governance process/procedure for controlling the above • Issue communications to the business unit team to launch the new process • Set up an inbox for collating all future CM (e.g: PCM, TCM, NC, etc), and advise customers/suppliers of this location • Generate and deploy appropriate trackers/metrics for all CM’s/etc • Set up and deploy process for archiving all communications (suitable for audit purposes) • Set up and deploy process for allocation, tracking and expediting responses from internal stakeholders • Review all draft responses and ensure those having cost/timescale/commercial implications are reviewed with Finance, commercial and Project Controls Leads, prior to formal response. • Manage and coordinate the communication of data across internal and external stakeholders • Impact assessment of all requests (including with relevant stakeholders e.g.: Finance, Supply Chain and Commercial) • Fully competent communicator (verbal written brief/reports/presentations) both internally and externally to management, customer and supplier Qualifications • Appropriate qualification in Technical/Business discipline (preferable) • BTEC/Degree level (or equivalent) preferred • Ideally experience in configuration control within a technical/commercial environment • Experienced in managing/controlling large volumes of data within a project environment • Typically, already operation at a DPM level (or equivalent) This is a contract role.
