KS2 Teaching Assistant - Stafford - Start Date: As soon as possible

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and highly experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly, welcoming school in the heart of Stafford. You will be required to work on a Full-Time basis, Monday - Friday. The hours expected to work are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

We require a highly experienced, confident teaching Assistant who ideally holds a Level 3 Qualification or equivalent. Your role as a teaching assistant is a role in which is a highly rewarding job; supporting pupils on a day-to-day basis with learning. You will be working closely alongside the teacher to support the development and implementation of a high-quality curriculum.

The role includes:

• Working for a reputable education agency - Academics Ltd.

• Teaching and supporting classes across Key Stage 2.
• Planning and Leading curriculum lessons to cover PPA sessions.
• Confident in building and forming strong, trusting relationships with staff in order to work as a team to support the learners within the classroom to reach their full potential.
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour effectively and quickly.
• Adapting quickly to a new school setting, supporting a Stafford school as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant.

We are looking for someone who:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or above (essential).
• A secure and solid knowledge of the KS2 national curriculum and assessment.
• Willing to assist the class teacher with the planning of learning activities.
• Confident in behaviour management.
• Planning and Leading Curriculum lessons to cover PPA sessions.
• Enhanced DBS.
• Provide 2 teaching references.
• Available to start ASAP.
• Confident in building trusting relationships with staff, students and pupils.
• Fully registered to work with Academics.

Pay: £90 - £100 a day (dependent upon experience). Holiday pay is included on day rate.
