Secondary Teaching Assistant

Engage Education are currently working in partnership with a secondary school in East Wakefield who are looking for an outstanding Teaching Assistant to join them on a long term temporary basis. This role is an immediate start but we do have other roles similar available for later on in the year.

Your Role:

• Supporting learners on a one-to-one basis

• Working with other support staff to engage pupils in class

• Supporting small groups of pupils to keep them engaged throughout the school day

What you will need:

• A range of behaviour management techniques

• To have worked with learners with a range of needs

• The ability to engage a young person in learning through a range of methods

• A resilient attitude

• Currently hold a relevant level 3 qualification
