We are now looking for an experienced and passionate Year 6 Teacher to lead our oldest pupils through their final year of primary education.

Role Overview:
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in preparing pupils for their transition to secondary school. You will deliver a broad and balanced curriculum, ensuring all children are challenged and supported to reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact during this crucial stage of pupils' education.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum and SATs preparation

*

Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress to inform teaching and interventions

*

Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations and confidence

*

Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership to maintain high standards

*

Build strong partnerships with parents and carers to support pupil learning and well-being

*

Lead and participate in end-of-year events, residential trips, and transition activities

We are looking for:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

*

Significant experience teaching Year 6 or Key Stage 2

*

Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment framework

*

Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire pupils

*

A reflective, proactive practitioner committed to ongoing professional development

*

Please note: this role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
