Our client, Tameside Council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their SGO Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

• Assess and support people applying to become Special Guardians.
• Write clear, detailed reports for court.
• Help families adjust after an SGO is granted.
• Make sure children are safe, happy, and well cared for.
• Work with schools, health services, legal teams, and other professionals.
• Keep accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures.
• Contribute to improving services for children and families.

Requirements of this role:

• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
• Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
