Senior ArchitectLocation: East SussexSalary: £40,000 to £46,000

A well established architectural practice is looking to recruit a Senior Architect to join its team in East Sussex. The studio delivers projects across the residential, education, and healthcare sectors and places a strong emphasis on sustainable design. This position will involve working closely with project teams, clients, and contractors, primarily on residential and mixed use developments.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the preparation and delivery of technical design packages for cladding remediation and building retrofit projects* Produce and manage detailed Revit models, drawings, and supporting technical documentation* Ensure all design information complies with the requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022 and related regulations* Coordinate design information with external consultants and specialist subcontractors* Review potential technical or compliance risks and implement suitable solutions* Liaise with clients, contractors, and statutory authorities throughout project stages

Skills and Experience

* Qualified Architect with current ARB registration* Strong working knowledge of Revit* Experience working on cladding remediation, façade upgrades, or refurbishment and retrofit schemes* Excellent technical knowledge, including construction detailing and risk awareness* Understanding of Gateway processes and the responsibilities associated with BRPD* Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams and coordinating design information
