We are supporting a healthcare provider that delivers key services on behalf of the NHS and Public Health including stop smoking and sexual health. Due to the current postholder's retirement, they are seeking a Head of Service to lead operational delivery and management of their sexual health service.

Key Details

• Leadership role within a team of around 30 people
• Postholder will work alongside a senior nurse who now oversees clinical duties
• Focus on general management service performance and operational leadership

What Our Client Is Looking For

• Background in the health sector is essential
• NHS experience highly desirable
• Strong operational leadership with the ability to manage teams effectively
• Skilled in building and maintaining commissioner relationships
• Confident leading services through CQC preparation
• Experience supporting improvement work and ready to contribute to a new tender later this year
• Sexual health experience useful but not mandatory
