Our client, a leader in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking Systems Engineers to join their team on a contract basis. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in integrating the necessary engineering and technology strands to develop high-performance systems. Key Responsibilities:

Developing and understanding system architectures
Designing communication systems and radar architectures
Producing system design documentation for evidence gathering and presentation for CDR and other engineering lifecycle events
Ensuring compliance with customer and system requirements through linked evidence
Taking full ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks

Job Requirements:

Strong technical understanding of systems engineering principles and system architectures
Experience in the design of communication systems and radar architectures
Knowledge of RF communications and/or radar systems (preferred but not essential)
Ability to produce and present system design documentation
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Proactive approach with a strong sense of responsibility
This role can be based from Southampton or Basildon
