Interim Technical Finance Manager - 6 - 12 Month FTC

JSS are delighted to be partnering a leading, employer of choice, based in Hertfordshire. JSS are recruiting an Interim Technical Finance Manager position, who will be a key member of the team.

The Role:

The Technical Finance Manager role based in Hertfordshire, will be responsible for the following.

• Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Provide analysis and recommendations on operational and financial reporting standards, ensuring a robust control environment and driving continuous improvement.
• Introduce a comprehensive balance sheet reporting and monitoring process, including sampling, risk and opportunity reporting, and updates to existing policies.
• Develop and maintain a centralised accounting policies library to ensure consistency and ease of access across the organisation.
• Serve as the key technical expert for all IFRS accounting queries.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on the progress of accounting policies and the financial impact of any changes.

Profile:

We are looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified candidate with the following experience and skillset:

• At least 5 years PQE, ideally from a similar role.
• Strong stakeholder management.
• Experience of process improvements and driving efficiencies
• Must be self-motivated and a self-starter
• Excellent communication skills

This Technical Finance Manager role offers a salary of circa £80 - £85,000, benefits and hybrid working.
