About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity to teach English across KS3 and KS4, inspiring students to build confidence in reading, writing, and communication while nurturing a genuine love for literature.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver engaging, creative lessons that bring the English curriculum to life
- Monitor and assess student progress, offering clear and supportive feedback
- Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive
- Play an active part in the wider school community and extracurricular life
Who We’re Looking ForWe’re keen to hear from teachers who have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in English or a closely related subject
- Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and confident classroom management
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
