We are currently working with a Local Authority who are looking for a Technical Support Officer to support the authoirty in maintaining accurate property records, resolving boundary issues, and delivering excellent service to tenants and leaseholders.

Technical Support Officer

Hours: 37 hours per week

Start Date: ASAP

Rate: Negotiable hourly inside IR35

Duration: 6 months – likely extension

About the Role:

• Use CAD/GIS software to produce technical drawings, maps, and reports
• Work closely with Planning to ensure accurate alignment of property records with permissions and regulations
• Assist with Right to Buy processes, prepare sale plans and resolve boundary disputes
• Conduct site inspections and collaborate with Housing, Legal, Estates, and other teams
• Champion inclusion and support a positive workplace culture

Key Duties:

• Prepare and maintain terrier plans and property records
• Create plans for service charges and property sales
• Investigate and resolve boundary disputes through inspections and stakeholder engagement
• Provide technical input on property management and legal queries
• Collaborate with Planning to ensure regulatory alignment
• Deliver reports and drawings using CAD/GIS software

Essential Requirements:

• Proficiency in CAD or GIS software
• Experience preparing property-related plans and drawings
• Solid understanding of property law and boundary regulations
• Experience conducting site inspections
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
