Join the Food Technology department within a large secondary school from February 2021.

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a secondary school in Salford who are looking to recruit a full-time Food Technology teacher to cover a maternity leave from February 2021. The role would be until the end of the academic year in the first instance, with a possibility of continuing into next academic year 2021/2022.

  • Full-time Food Technology position from February 2021.

  • Working at an Ofsted graded 'Good' school.
  • Located near to the Eccles area of Salford, accessible via the A580 (East Lancashire Road).
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£25,714 - £41,604).

Our client school is a small mixed comprehensive 11-16 secondary school near to the Eccles area of Salford, thus having an abundance of public transportation links and transport options. The school has consistently been graded 'Good' over the past 8 years, and has a positive Progress 8 score - meaning pupils make good progress. The school was recently refurbished through the Salford Schools Improvement Programme, and due to this - the incoming Food Technology teacher will have access to state of the art facilities.

Our partner school are ideally looking for a teacher that can teach Food Technology to both KS3 and KS4 and also has experience of teaching other disciplines of Technology. The incoming Food Technology teacher will be joining a department that regularly used departmental development time to collaboratively plan and review the lessons throughout the curriculum. The ideal candidate should have relevant teaching qualifications and Qualified Teacher Status in the United Kingdom.
