We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading US law firm, to assist them in their search for a new Events Specialist.
This is a new role in their London office, to work as part of their highly collaborative team, whereby the successful applicant will be responsible for planning internal and external events and meetings.
Responsibilities will include:
- Organising and delivering meetings and events, collaborating with other stakeholders as necessary for content.
- Coordinating logistics including catering, entertainment, AV, and transport.
- Establishing and maintaining working relationships with external suppliers.
- Selecting venues and negotiating contracts.
- Preparing budgets, managing expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Creating and distributing communications.
- Coordinating and preparing attendee lists, agendas, and signage.
- Researching and making event recommendations.
- Organising and tracking event registration pre and post event.
- Coordinating post-event reports including attendance numbers, cost summaries, and other important data.

Suitable candidates will have gained prior event planning experience, ideally within a law firm, although professional services environments will also be considered. We are seeking applicants with exemplary analytical, communication, problem solving, and project management skills.
