We have an amazing oppertunity for a talented, driven individual to join our client's business within Halifax. As a Technical operator, you will be an Operation Line Team member and required to resolve operational problems on the lines, carry out fault diagnosis and first line repairs as well as operating the machinery.

The shift pattern is a 12-hour rotational shift rota (Days and Nights)

36 hour week or 42 hour week available (salary is higher with hours)

The role:

* Organise line changeovers and running to ensure that all relevant departments and personnel are fully informed.

* Review daily achievement of targets and report variances

* Complete relevant company documentation

* Understand the equipment, processes and key performance indicators

* Carry out training, instruction and competency assessment of others.

Requirements:

* Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship and NVQ level 3 equivalent

* You will need to demonstrate you care about delivering high quality products at all times

* have a good understanding of Good Manufacturing Principles.

* You will be able to demonstrate ownership, high levels of results focus and strong communication skills.

* Experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) preferred
