1:1 EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Nottingham (NG2)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Term‑time only, Temporary with potential for permanent
Hours: Full‑time (8.30am-3:45pm)
Salary: £90 - £105 day

Are you passionate about guiding young children through their first steps in education? Do you have a nurturing and patient approach, ready to support children with behaviour or SEND goals? We are recruiting on behalf of a warm and inclusive Early Years setting in NG2 as a dedicated 1:1 EYFS Teaching Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to an EYFS pupil with behavioural, emotional, or developmental needs

Deliver tailored, play-based learning experiences under teacher guidance

Implement and monitor personalised behaviour intervention plans

Record and track progress, updating SENCO, class teacher, and parents

Encourage children's social, emotional, and academic development
What You'll Bring:

Experience in EYFS/nursery environments

Confidence supporting children with behavioural challenges or SEND

Calm, patient, and empathetic demeanour

Level 2/3 TA or Early Years qualification (or equivalent)

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain prior to start)

Strong communication skills and collaborative team attitude
