Estimating/Sales Engineer

Our client, a small to medium sized engineering business in the Brighouse area, have an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed Estimator/Sales Engineer to join their team.

The successful estimator/sales engineer will be able to demonstrate a track record of working in a precision engineering ( Manufacturing ) environment, and be well versed in CNC Machining.

Duties for the estimator/sales estimator Include:

* Identifying and developing new customers and managing the needs and requirements of existing customer.

* To provide detailed costings for sales enquires identifying the most cost-efficient method of manufacturing so as to provide the best opportunity to win orders.

* Customers visits and providing visit reports to update all company personnel.

* To identify new suppliers and sources of material

* Be involved in regular/monthly sales meeting

* Working with production to identify the most efficient means of production

* Involvement with the management team in identifying new pieces of machine equipment for future investment.

* Any ad hoc assignments that the incumbent can add value to for the company.

This is a permanent position where you will be expected to work 08:00 - 16:50 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 12:15 on a Friday.

In return you can expect a salary of £38k -£40k
