Registered Home Manager – £70,000 | Lead a Well-Rated Nursing Home with Heart

Salary: £65,000 (rising to £70,000 after successful probation)

Our client, a respected and long-established care provider, is looking for an experienced Registered Home Manager to lead one of their nursing homes. The service supports older adults, including those living with dementia, and is committed to delivering care that is both high-quality and person-centred.

With a strong focus on kindness, dignity and respect, the home has a history of Good or Outstanding CQC ratings and is now seeking a leader to uphold and build on that success.

As Registered Home Manager, you’ll take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home. You’ll be empowered to shape the culture, lead a skilled multidisciplinary team, and ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and compliance.

This is a role for someone who thrives on both challenge and reward—someone who takes pride in creating a home where residents feel truly supported and staff are valued and developed.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care or an active NMC registration
  • Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager, ideally within a medium or large-sized nursing home
  • A proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding CQC ratings
  • Strong leadership, team development, and people management skills
  • Experience supporting older adults, including those living with dementia
  • A values-driven, compassionate approach to leadership and care

What’s in it for you?

  • Competitive salary: £65,000 rising to £70,000 after probation
  • Company pension scheme
  • Free onsite parking
  • Online benefits portal – discounts, wellbeing tools and more
  • Ongoing training and development – support for career progression
  • Employee wellbeing support – because taking care of others starts with taking care of you

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the home’s operation, including clinical and care delivery, staffing, compliance, and budgetary management
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a skilled team, fostering a positive, inclusive working environment
  • Maintain and build on the service’s high standards, ensuring full CQC compliance and driving continuous improvement
  • Work closely with residents, families, and external professionals to ensure individual care needs are met with dignity and respect
  • Deliver outstanding leadership and promote best practice in dementia and older adult care
